Two heads are better than one, and with three heads, you can do almost anything. So, do you feel like donating your head to the Frugal Japan cause? Here are some ways you could help.

A. Volunteer to be an FJ MODERATOR. You would help with approving (and occasionally rejecting, in the case of obvious spammers) new members to the mailing list and dealing with any issues that come up on the list. Since the topic of this list is not exactly controversial, there aren’t that many issues to deal with, so you would probably mainly just approve members.

B. Volunteer to be an FJ SENPAI. You would help by introducing topics on the mailing list that might be of interest to the members and actively participating in discussions once they get started.

C. Volunteer to be an FJ BLOGGER. You would help by posting occasional articles to the website, at whatever schedule suits you.

D. Volunteer to be an FJ ARCHIVER. You would help by posting information to the website that has appeared in the mailing list (possibly in the Q&A form of “Frugal Hive” posts, but the format would be up to you).

E. Volunteer to be an FJ SEEKER. You would help by seeking out relevant information that you think other people might benefit from and forwarding it to the mailing list. Good content will be added to the website by FJ Bloggers and/or FJ Archivers.

F. Volunteer to do something that we haven’t thought of yet. Is there something missing in the FJ world? Come on board and make it happen!

Don’t worry if you have never moderated a mailing list or posted an article on a blog. Both tasks are easy to learn and we are happy to teach anyone who is interested. And these skills can be quite useful with other groups and organizations that you belong to, so think of it as on-the-job training!

If you are interested in volunteering to do any of the above, please contact us!
